Retro Golf is a turn-based golf game for Android. This policy explains what the game stores, why, who can see it and how to remove it.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts or photos, and we do not sell your data. The game has no analytics or crash-reporting service of its own.

How it is used

To run the game: signing in, multiplayer turns, Play Computer, statistics, course records, rankings, Daily Challenges, tournaments, coins and purchases, notifications, and to detect cheating (we check that scores match the recorded strokes). Data is stored with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging, africa-south1 region), which processes it on our behalf, and is encrypted in transit.

Who can see what

Service providers

Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in, database, functions, notifications), Google Play (payments and distribution) and, when ads are on, Google AdMob. We do not share your data with anyone else, except if the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or as described on the account deletion page. Deleting your account removes your sign-in, profile, statistics, personal records, coins and coin history, rating and history, directory listing, invitations, blocks, notification registrations and course ownership records. Matches and course records shared with other players are kept so their history stays complete, with your name replaced by "Deleted player". Records Google Play keeps about your purchases are held by Google. Abuse reports about a golfer may be kept for as long as needed to protect other players.

Children

Retro Golf is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page, and the date above, if the game's use of data changes.
